- The piano suite "Hommage à Francis Poulenc” is a work from my youth and a tribute to my idol, the great French composer “Francis Poulenc" (1899-1963).
  
  The suite is in four short movements and composed in 1990/1993 and first performed in Aalborg at the Northern Jutland`s Music Academy in september 1994. Last revised 2007. The suite was recorded in 2023 by British/French pianist Haley Myles (Steinway Artist).

About the composer +
- Michael Bønsdorf earned his master’s degree in musicology from The University of Aalborg and studied composition and music theory privately with the Danish composers Svend Christiansen, Svend Hvidtfelt Nielsen and Niels Marthinsen. He is a member of The Danish Association of Composers and has been awarded a number of grants, i.a. a two-year grant from The Danish Arts Council and from The Velux Foundation enabling him to study abroad. Michael Bønsdorf`s output primarily consists of chamber and choral music.
