Composer: Ivana Bilić
Instrument: Percussion Ensemble
Duration: 8 min.
The piece was written for the Paris Conservatory percussion class of Sandra Valette. The idea was to create something that could involve 8 students from the same class but all with a different level of education. The result is a fun piece with a simple 8 bar pattern and a growing rhythmical drive. The solos are open for repeating and improvisation. Changing parts during the performance could also be an idea. Enjoy!
2 Marimbas (5 oct), shared with 4 players
Bass drum, shared with 2 players
Percussion (glockenspiel, triangle, small cymbal, cowbell)
