TARO HAKASE is a contemporary classical and crossover violinist, entertainer, music composer and producer. His CD has reached over six million sales in his homeland. His violinist career started in 1990 as a band member of KRYZLER&KOMPANY, violin, bass and keyboards trio. After the break up of KRYZLER&KOMPANY, Hakase has started his solo career and he was recognized internationally after a collaboration soundtrack and a concert tour with Celine Dion in 1996.
He is not only an artist who receives a Gold Disc Award successively for 2 years but also a record winning performer who is giving a hundred of 5000-capacity concerts a year. More to mention, he becomes the very key artist for successfully and extendedly running two music festivals, “Jonetsu Tairiku Special Live Summer Time Boanza” and “Live Image”.
