Ink, a vessel of Eastern humanism, speaks the stories of its makers—both seen and unseen. Illuminated by its essence, the composer finds rhythm in the fleeting forms of ink dissolving into water. In that moment, ink becomes storm, blossom, or star—shifting between presence and absence, form and formlessness. The music draws inspiration from these transformations, seeking to express the emotional depth inherent in the use of ink in Chinese calligraphy and painting.
