      Melodie, Op. 10 was originally composed in 1913 and dedicated to Fredrik Marke who was a musician from the Royal Danish Orchestra. The sheet music was lost until some years ago where it was found in an old violin case in an unaffected condition. Now almost 100 years later the Melodie, Op. 10 finally can be re-introduced.Source: The publishing house

    • Mostly know for his operetta Farinelli and his appearance on the TV-theater with Poul Bundgaard, which provided him National fame. Emil Reesen started as a conductor on numerous small theatres and ended up being conducting at the National Radio Orchestra through the 1920’es. In the 1930’s he became the music director at the Palladium. He composed, arranged and conducted silent movies.
